1. A sticker must be affixed to vehicle (purchase from Town Clerk, Public Works - $10.00). 2. No garbage/trash accepted at Transfer Station. 3. Bulky waste and metal must be separated. 4. No corrugated cardboard, newspapers, glass bottles, recyclable plastics. 5. Waste motor oil must be in one (1) gallon plastic containers. Tops must be secure. Maximum four (4) gallons per visit. 6. No antifreeze accepted. 7. No hazardous materials; no junk motor vehicles, no radioactive materials, no chemical storage drums. 8. Individual motor parts or body parts accepted. These parts must not contain any hazardous materials (gas, oil, antifreeze, etc.) 9. Leaves must be emptied from plastic bags. There is no disposal of the plastic bags at the Transfer Station. 10. Tires must be put in the tire container. 11. Large loads of roofing materials/shingles will not be accepted (i.e., repair debris only, not debris from a re-roof job). 12. Drums will be accepted; tops must be removed (clean - no chemicals or residue). 13. Tree limbs must not exceed 4' lengths, no diameters greater than 4" 14. All
loads must be secured. 15. Dumping items while Transfer Station is closed is prohibited by Ordinance. 16. No parking is allowed inside the gates. 17. No scrap construction materials. No contractor/construction/demolition materials will be accepted. Homeowners are to hire a private hauler to remove debris from their site. 18. No stumps, no dirt, no grass clippings. 19. Car batteries must not be broken or leaking. 20. Car batteries are not to be removed from the Transfer Station by anyone other than Town Employee(s) or Town-hired vendor(s). 21. Appliances containing CFC, HCFC,
Freon (refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, etc.) will not be accepted without proof of evacuation. Certification must include item's serial number and signature of evacuator. 22. All children must remain in vehicles at all times.

Tires All tires must be off rims Up to 19" in diameter - $ 5.00 20" and over - $10.00
Refrigerators and Air Conditioners
$10.00 each Any refrigerant-type item must be evacuated of CFC's or it cannot be accepted - proof must be provided (sticker must be on item).
All Other Appliances
$10.00 each Stoves, dishwashers, washers, dryers, water tanks or any large metal item.
Furniture
$5.00 per item Sofas, chairs, mattresses
All Other Bulky Waste

There is a $10.00 charge for Transfer Station Stickers. All vehicles must have a Transfer Station sticker affixed to windshield or they will not be allowed to enter site.
