The Public Works Department operates the Transfer Station on Bear Swamp Road which is available for all Town residents, (see Fees) every Saturday from 7:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. for disposal of bulky waste items, metal, waste oil, batteries, leaves and brush. There is no disposal of household trash or household recyclables. All residents must contract with a private trash hauler who will pick up trash and recyclables curb-side.
A sticker must be affixed to the lower driver's side portion of the windshield of the vehicle. Stickers are $10 and are valid for one fiscal year (7-1 through 6-30). Fees are detailed in the Rules and Regulations and on the Fees page.
