Memorial Elementary School is located on 19 acres at 20 Smith Street. It currently serves Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, grades 1, 2 and 3. The site now has three equipped playgrounds, a Parks and Recreation maintained playscape and Little League fields.

From the North or South:
Follow I-91 to Exit 22 "Route 9 - Old Saybrook". (It is a left exit from (I-91 South). Follow Route 9 South for just under 5 miles to the second exit, "Route 66 East, Route 17 North - Por tland/Willimantic." Bear right at the traffic signal and go over the Middletown/Portland Bridge. Just after the bridge, bear right on Route 66 East. Follow Route 66 East for approximately six miles to the junction of Routes 66 and 16. Turn right onto Route 16 and go straight through two traffic lights. Turn left onto Smith Street. Memorial Elementary School is on the right.
From the West:
Take I-84 to I-91 South in Hartford and then follow directions above.
From the Shore (South):
Take Route 9 North to the Route 66 exit (left) and then follow the directions above.
From the East (Boston):
Take I-84 West to Route 2 East, Follow to Exit 13 Marlborough/East Hampton. Turn right at end of the exit ramp onto Route 66. Follow Route 66 for approximately 6 miles. At the 2nd traffic light after MacDonalds, turn left on Main Street. Go straight at the 4-way stop sign and proceed up the hill. Turn left on Edgerton Street. At end of Edgerton Street turn right onto Smith Street. Memorial Elementary School is on the left.
From the Shore (North):
Take Route 2 West to Exit 13, turn left and follow the directions above.
