A meeting was held on April 16, 2008 at Chatham Acres.  The meeting opened at 6:40pm.  Members present were Patricia Dufour, Jo Ann Ewing and Judie Bobbi.  Stacy Brown attended by speaker phone as she was delayed in traffic in New York.  Monica Kangley was absent.

Minutes:
Ms. Ewing made a motion to accept the Minutes of March 19th.  Ms. Brown seconded.  Motion carried.

Bills and Communication:
The Housing Authority received a Procurement Policy change in the HUD Handbook.  Ms. Bobbi will draft a revision policy to be voted on by the Board.

Ms. Bobbi reported that a wire transfer was made from the checking to the S.T.I.F. account.  She had discussed the transfer with the Chairman beforehand.

Grasshopper Landscaping presented the mowing contract for 2008.  After discussion, Ms. Brown made a motion to approve.  Ms. Ewing seconded.  Motion carried.

Furniture care gave a quote of $775 to refinish cabinets in C-3.  Ms. Brown made a motion to approve the work.  Ms. Ewing seconded.  Motion carried.

Cash Report:

Old Business and New Business: Cash Report for March will be presented at the May meeting.

Ms. Bobbi presented Resolution 2008 – 1.  This is an updated income limit for applicants as per the HUD Income Guidelines.

Ms. Bobbi gave an update on the WRAP request after meeting with Ray Mack from Northeast Utilities.
According to the IRS website mileage allowance is now 50.5 cents per mile.

Ms. Ewing made a motion to adjourn at 7pm.  Ms. Brown seconded.
