Minutes

Present: Chairperson Melissa Engel, Vice Chairman Thomas Cordeiro and members, William Devine, Christopher Goff, Scott Minnick, John Tuttle and Susan Weintraub. Also present were Lisa Seymour and Jeffery Jylkka.

Chairperson Engel called the Special Meeting to order at 5:35 p.m.

A motion was made by Mr. Goff, seconded by Mr. Tuttle, to enter Executive Session at 5:35 p.m.  Voted (7-0).

A.      Town Manager Performance Review:  Lisa Seymour, Human Resources Coordinator was also present during this discussion.

B.      Personnel Performance Discussion:  Also present during this discussion was Martin Swan, Matt Walton and Steve Palmer.

C.      Pending Litigation:  Krauth v. Town of East Hampton, et al, U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut case number 3:09-cv-161:  Jeffery Jylkka, Finance Director was also present during this discussion.

The Council exited Executive Session at 6:30 p.m.

A motion was made by Mr. Goff, seconded by Mr. Cordeiro, to instruct Jeffery O’Keefe to continue in settlement negotiations regarding the Krauth matter.  Voted (7-0).

The Special Meeting adjourned at 6:35 p.m.
