MINUTES of March 14, 2008
7:00 a.m.
Town Garage Meeting Room


Meeting was called to order at 7:05 a.m.

In attendance were: Johnny Hanson, John Tuttle, Vinnie Susco, Mark Barmasse, Peter Aarrestad and Melissa Engel.  Bob Heidel, Bob Drewry and Ted Hintz were absent.

Motion to approve the minutes of 2/29/08 was made by M. Barmasse, seconded by John Hanson.  Motion approved with one abstentia from John Tuttle.

Much discussion about finding a third water source to fill all requests for water at the Village Center including a new Town Hall.  There are 20 additional businesses and residents on the “Wish List” to receive water.  The WDTF agreed that those people who have been waiting for water should be served based on health and safety, followed by economic development potential and proximity to the system.  

Awaiting test results on Library well site.

Discussed current negotiations with St. Clements regarding securing the water source located on their property.  The WDTF is waiting for information from the state with regard to water rights.  Next meeting is March 19th.

Action items:

Vinnie to provide a “Cost of Service” study to determine the cost to hook up additional water users.

Meeting adjourned at 8 a.m.

Next meeting Friday March 28th at 7 a.m. at the Town Garage.
